One time only special commission for ~weaver1217 of their bacabello character Adaire is feline form.

Please, don't ever make me do an all black subject again. :faint:

My first attempt at doing a feline type creature. I promise I'll practice lots and my next one will actually look a feline (fyi: I like bigger cats like tiger, cougar, etc... no domestic). The detail was killed..

It's very good for a first attempt, actually; it is recognizably feline, and you didn't include any horse anatomy (which occurs quite often for artists who primarily draw horses). My only suggestion would be to make the body a bit more rectangular, as exemplified by this tiger picture. [link]

By the way, you handled black very well--don't know what you're upset about. =)

Oooo! I see where you used the gel pen. It blends so well though it was hard for me to tell. XD

That's a cool way to add to the picture and it looks so well too. I never knew about that. Thanks, I learned something new today. :D

Yay, She looks so good! The pose is great and I love the way you did the shading, all black or not she looks very muscular and powerful :aww:

For a first time feline attempt,I'd say you hit it spot on. I could definitely not do better without a ton of practice!

and finally I promise, if I ever commission you again I will be sure to not do Adaire again ^^; black kills me as well so I'm very amazed that you were able to do her coloring so smoothly! Mine always end up grey :XD:

Thanks! Yeah I see what you mean about the rectangle body,
I'll definitley practice a lot. Haha, I don't know, something
about black.. the colouring seemed to drag on for ever. :XD:
